SINGAPORE, 28 October 2022 – Singapore Changi Airport handled 3.42 million passenger movements in September 2022, reaching 62.6% of its pre-Covid traffic in September 2019. Aircraft movements, which include landings and takeoffs, totalled 20,400, 65.6% of September 2019 levels. Airfreight throughput registered 154,000 tonnes for the month, a year-on-year[1]decline of 10%.
For the third quarter
Singapore Changi Airport handled 2.93 million passenger movements in June 2022, reaching 50.3% of its pre-Covid traffic in June 2019. Aircraft movements, including both landings and takeoffs, totalled 18,400 (58.6% compared to June 2019), while airfreight throughput registered 163,000 tonnes for the month, a 1.4% increase year-on-year.
SINGAPORE, 21 April 2022 – Singapore Changi Airport handled 1.14 million passenger movements in March 2022, crossing the one million mark for the first time since March 2020[1]. This was 20.3% of March 2019’s traffic. Aircraft movements totalled 13,200 landings and takeoffs, while airfreight throughput registered 152,000 tonnes for the month.
