Changi Airport‟s Terminal 4 (T4) opens today by welcoming passengers of Cathay Pacific and Korean Air. Cathay Pacific flight CX659 from Hong Kong was the first flight to arrive at the new terminal at 0525 hours. Its passengers were warmly welcomed with orchids and goodie bags as they stepped into the terminal.

SINGAPORE, 22 October 2015 – Changi Airport Group (CAG) announced today that it has awarded a S$1.12 billion contract to a joint venture formed by Samsung C&T Corporation and Koh Brothers (“the JV”), for the first package of works relating to the development of a three-runway system at Singapore Changi Airport. The award follows a competitive tender which saw participation from 10 tenderers.

Changi Airport Group (CAG) today provided an update on the development of Changi Airport’s new Terminal 4 (T4), which is scheduled to commence operations in 2017. Five more airlines – AirAsia Berhad, Indonesia AirAsia, Thai AirAsia, Korean Air and Vietnam Airlines – will operate at T4, joining Cathay Pacific.

Changi Airport Group (CAG) and Cathay Pacific Airways announced today that Cathay Pacific will operate at Changi Airport’s newest terminal – Terminal 4 (T4) – when it opens in 2017. Cathay Pacific is the first airline to confirm its move to T4. Singapore Changi Airport handled 4.0 million passenger movements in September 2012, an increase of 4.8% over the same month last year. On a rolling 12-month basis, 49.9 million travellers passed through Changi Airport, representing an increase of 9.7%.

Changi Airport Group (CAG) today announced that it will close Singapore Changi Airport’s Budget Terminal on 25 September 2012. The terminal will be demolished to make way for the construction of a larger passenger building so as to cater to the continued growth of air traffic at Changi Airport and further strengthen Singapore’s air hub status.
