SINGAPORE, 12 November 2023– From 13 November 2023, Changi Airport will offer free bicycle rentals to passengers who have a layover in Singapore. This year-long campaign offers these passengers free two-hours’ use of a bicycle to explore outdoor attractions in the airport’s vicinity, including the Jurassic Mile and nearby beaches along Singapore’s East Coast.

Changi Airport Group (CAG) and Cathay Pacific Airways announced today that Cathay Pacific will operate at Changi Airport’s newest terminal – Terminal 4 (T4) – when it opens in 2017. Cathay Pacific is the first airline to confirm its move to T4. Singapore Changi Airport has once again been named the World's Best Airport at the 2014 Skytrax World Airport Awards yesterday, at the Passenger Terminal Expo in Barcelona, Spain. It is the fifth time Changi Airport has achieved this accolade and the very first time in Changi Airport’s history to win it twice in a row.
Singapore Changi Airport handled 4.3 million passenger movements in September 2013, an increase of 6.9% over the same month last year. In terms of flight movements, 28,400 landings and take-offs were recorded during the month, a growth of 7.2%. On the cargo front, 152,800 tonnes of airfreight were processed at Changi Airport in September 2013, a decrease of 2.5% year-on-year.
