Singapore Changi Airport handled 4.3 million passenger movements in September 2013, an increase of 6.9% over the same month last year. In terms of flight movements, 28,400 landings and take-offs were recorded during the month, a growth of 7.2%. On the cargo front, 152,800 tonnes of airfreight were processed at Changi Airport in September 2013, a decrease of 2.5% year-on-year.

Singapore Changi Airport was honoured by the cargo industry at the Asian Freight and Supply Chain Awards (AFSCA) held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Shanghai this evening.
