Experience the magic at Jewel: Jewel Changi Airport and Disney Cruise Line unveil spectacular year-end holiday event in Singapore

Singapore, 25 October 2024 – This holiday season, Jewel Changi Airport (Jewel) proudly presents the first-ever Disney Cruise Line-inspired festive extravaganza in Southeast Asia, ‘The Gift of Disney Cruise Line at Jewel’. Running from 8 November 2024 to 2 January 2025, Canopy Park (located at Jewel’s topmost floor) will feature a series of festive displays and interactive installations, inspired by the seven immersive themed areas aboard the Disney Adventure, that homeports in Singapore from 2025.

Experience the first-ever festive spectacle inspired by Disney Cruise Line

Visitors to Canopy Park can immerse in specially curated themed installations drawing inspirations from the recently unveiled seven themed areas on the Disney Adventure like Disney Imagination Garden, San Fransokyo Street, and Disney cruise ship’s iconic red funnel. Throughout Canopy Park, visitors to Jewel will be able to capture photogenic and enchanting moments with several photo installations featuring fan-favourite stories and characters from Disney, Pixar and Marvel. From Disney princesses like Ariel, Moana, to Disney’s Frozen’s Elsa and Anna, or superheroes like Marvel’s Iron Man, Ant-Man and The Wasp, and so much more, visitors of all ages will enjoy the magical experience exploring Canopy Park.

Hedge Maze: Inspired by the Disney Adventure’s Disney Imagination Garden, the heart of the ship, visitors will be welcomed by a landscape featuring intricate Mickey Mouse-shaped topiaries and a life-sized Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey statue.

Foggy Bowls: Visitors will encounter Disney’s Big Hero 6’s beloved healthcare provider robot Baymax installation, standing at an impressive 2.6metres, within a futuristic cityscape themed after San Fransokyo Street, seamlessly blending Eastern and Western architectural elements.

Petal Garden: Guests will be transported to an inspired top deck of the Disney Adventure with a spectacular, life-sized 4-metre replica of the iconic Disney Cruise Line’s ship funnel. Visitors can enjoy photo opportunities and interact with three motion-activated portholes that will respond to guests’ waves, each revealing surprise appearances from beloved Disney and Pixar characters, like Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse, creating many joyful moments.

Stand a chance to win a dream cruise vacation

As part of the celebration, visitors to Canopy Park can participate in a contest to win a 4-day, 3-night cruise vacation aboard the Disney Adventure. To enter the contest, guests can embark on a quest to hunt for seven thematic medallion stamps representing the seven themed areas onboard the Disney Adventure around Canopy Park, pen their wishes and share why they would want to win this special dream vacation at sea. Additionally, visitors on 16 and 17 November who come dressed in outfits inspired by their favourite Disney, Pixar or Marvel characters will enjoy free admission to Canopy Park. All guests will also receive a complimentary Captain Mickey Mouse inspired head visor[1]during their visit.

Exclusive collectibles inspired by a Disney cruise vacation

Teaming up with Disney Cruise Line, Jewel is offering limited-edition collectibles availablefor purchase with every S$60 spent in a single receipt. These exclusive items include a puffy sling bag (available in two colours) and a duffel bag, a travel organiser (available in two colours) and cabin-sized luggage, priced from S$18 to S$52.
