Terminal 4 Operational Update

Changi Airport’s Terminal 4 (T4) has handled more than 1.6 million passengers and over 9,400 flights since its operational opening on 31 October 2017.

Changi Airport Group and Xiamen Airlines sign new partnership

SINGAPORE, 7 February 2018 – Changi Airport Group (CAG) and Xiamen Airlines have signed a second Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to grow network connectivity and passenger traffic between Singapore and China.
The MOU was inked today by Mr Lim Ching Kiat, Changi Airport Group’s Managing Director for Air Hub Development, and Mr Zheng Congming, Director, Passenger Marketing & Sales Committee

A record 62.2 million passengers for Changi Airport in 2017

SINGAPORE, 23 January 2018 – Singapore Changi Airport registered a strong performance in 2017, handling a record 62.2 million passenger movements (+6.0%) for the year with 373,200 landings and take-offs (+3.5%). Airfreight throughput also grew by 7.9%, crossing the 2-million tonne mark for the first time, to reach 2.13 million tonnes for the year.

Singapore Changi Airport registered 5.16 million passenger movements in October 2017, an 8.1% year-on-year increase. There was a 5.0% increase in airfreight throughput to 185,830 tonnes, while aircraft movements rose 3.7% to 31,730 landings and takeoffs.

Changi Airport Terminal 4 starts operations

Changi Airport‟s Terminal 4 (T4) opens today by welcoming passengers of Cathay Pacific and Korean Air. Cathay Pacific flight CX659 from Hong Kong was the first flight to arrive at the new terminal at 0525 hours. Its passengers were warmly welcomed with orchids and goodie bags as they stepped into the terminal.
