Singapore Changi Airport registered 3.88 million passenger movements last month, 8.3% more than the corresponding period last year. At the same time, Changi handled 26,270 aircraft movements, surpassing the 26,000 mark for the first time and registering a new monthly record in terms of aircraft movements.
The Northern-Winter 2011/12 season which starts this week sees an additional 280 weekly flights and 30,000 weekly one-way seats being made available at Singapore Changi Airport to Southeast and Northeast Asia, cementing Changi’s position as a major gateway to the region.

Singapore Changi Airport handled 3.82 million passenger movements in September 2011, an increase of 12.5% over the same month last year. Aircraft movements grew in tandem, increasing 16.4% to 25,500 movements during the month.
