Changi Airport celebrates new A380 connection to Germany
In celebration of Lufthansa’s inaugural A380 service from Singapore, visitors can immerse in uniquely German fun and festivities at Changi Airport over the next two weeks. From 31 October 2011, Lufthansa will operate a daily A380 service between Singapore and Frankfurt, joining Singapore Airlines and Qantas in making Changi the world's busiest multi-carrier A380 hub.

Singapore Changi Airport handled 3.82 million passenger movements in September 2011, an increase of 12.5% over the same month last year. Aircraft movements grew in tandem, increasing 16.4% to 25,500 movements during the month.
Vladivostok Air connects Singapore to the Russian Far East

Singapore Changi Airport handled 3.86 million passenger movements in August 2011, an increase of 11.2% over the same month last year. Aircraft movements grew in tandem by 14.9% with 25,700 movements recorded during the month. Year-to-date, passenger movements grew 11.2% to 30.4 million.

Singapore Changi Airport marked its 30th anniversary in July 2011 by handling a record 4.17 million passenger movements during the month. This is an increase of 13.6% compared to July 2010, and surpasses the previous monthly high of 4.06 million passenger movements in December 2010. Year-to-date, passenger movements grew 11.2% to 26.6 million.
