Starting this month, passengers will enjoy direct connections from Changi Airport to Brazil, South America’s largest country and the land of samba dancing, bossa nova music, ‘futebol’, gorgeous sun-kissed beaches, and some of the world’s liveliest parties.
Singapore Changi Airport handled some 3.79 million passenger movements in January 2011, registering an 11.9% growth year-on-year.

Changi Airport Group (CAG) and Singapore Post (SingPost) have introduced the Speedpost@Changi service at all three Changi Airport main terminals, following a successful two-month trial earlier. With the launch of the service, passengers departing from Changi will be able to courier hand-carried items they did not pack in their checked-in luggage but which are disallowed on board aircraft.

Changi Airport Group will welcome Hong Kong Airlines to its growing network of airlines later this month. Hong Kong Airlines will operate both freighter and passenger services to Singapore from 14 January 2011 and 15 January 2011 respectively. It is the second carrier to operate passenger services to Changi Airport and the first to commence freighter services to Singapore this year.
