Firefly today reinstates its flights to Seletar Airport in Singapore from Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Subang, Malaysia, with a send-off event to mark the occasion. It is another significant milestone as part of post-pandemic recovery initiatives.
Seletar Airport today welcomed the inaugural flight by Firefly FY3126 from Subang in Malaysia to Seletar at about 10.50am, marking the start of the airline’s scheduled operations to Singapore’s Seletar Airport.
Seletar Airport’s new passenger terminal has received its Temporary Occupation Permit and preparations are on track for the terminal to begin operations by the end of this year.
Plans for enhanced facilities for passengers travelling through Seletar Airport were unveiled today at the groundbreaking ceremony for the airport’s new terminal building.
A new Passenger Terminal Building (PTB) is set to be constructed at the eastern side of Seletar Airport. A tender for the construction of the new PTB has been called yesterday and construction is expected to begin in October this year.
