Changi Airport Group (CAG) conferred its highest honours today to outstanding staff of the airport community. These are the staff that have gone beyond the call of duty and demonstrated exceptional service contributions in 2014, leaving deep and lasting impressions on both local and international passengers travelling through Changi Airport.
A 34-year-old Japanese civil engineer working in Singapore struck a windfall of S$1 million at Changi Airport today, as he beat five other contestants to emerge a newly-minted millionaire at the ‘Be a Changi Millionaire’ 2014 Grand Draw.
Singapore Changi Airport managed 54.1 million passenger movements in 2014, the most in its 33-year history. This was a 0.7% increase compared to the whole of 2013. Cargo volumes were stable at 1.84 million tonnes while flight movements dipped 0.7% to 341,390 for the year.
Singapore Changi Airport handled 4.42 million passenger movements in November 2014, a decrease of 1.1% year-on-year. Aircraft movements were 5% lower with 28,000 take-offs and landings. In the same month, 156,500 tonnes of cargo was handled, 2.2% lower than a year ago.

Passenger traffic at Singapore Changi Airport grew 1.9% on-year in October 2014, with 4.49 million passengers passing through the airport. There was a 2.1% increase in airfreight movements, with 159,700 tonnes of cargo handled during the month. Aircraft landings and takeoffs decreased by 3.7% to 28,380.

The open-air car park fronting Terminal 1 (T1) will be closed for redevelopment on 12 November 2014 (Wednesday), 2.00am. Until the completion of the redevelopment works in 2018, there will be new ground transport arrangements for T1 passengers and visitors.

Changi Airport registered 4.25 million passenger movements in September 2014, a
decline of 0.5% year-on-year. Aircraft
landings and takeoffs decreased by 5.0% to 27,020. On the cargo front, 147,800
tonnes of airfreight were processed last month, 2.7% lower than a year before.
During the month, traffic to South Asia and Northeast Asia grew by 11%
