SINGAPORE, 20 January 2013 – A local 45-year old business development director, Mr Peh Hock Peng, hit the million-dollar jackpot today at Changi Airport as he emerged the overall winner of the ‘Be a Changi Millionaire’ 2012 Grand Draw, walking away with the grand prize of S$1 million in cash.
Come 1 February 2013, passengers of Tiger Airways and its partner airlines will be able to make hassle-free transfers at Singapore Changi Airport without the need for travel visa to enter Singapore, immigration clearance, and the retrieval and checking-in of their luggage a second time for onward flights.

Singapore Changi Airport handled 4.0 million passenger movements in September 2012, an increase of 4.8% over the same month last year. On a rolling 12-month basis, 49.9 million travellers passed through Changi Airport, representing an increase of 9.7%.
